My cute husband turned 31 this week.
He had just come home from a week in the mountains,
and was leaving the next morning for a work seminar.
So this year, we just partied by ourselves.
He didn't even make me cook him anything.
He wanted to go out for dinner - no complaining here!
When we got home we ate cupcakes and he opened presents.
It was a quiet birthday, but it was perfect.
